If things aren’t getting better on their own, maybe it’s time to try a different approach.


Stress and sadness can chip away at your confidence, relationships, achievements, and ability to function.  Sometimes anxiety and depression are longstanding issues, and sometimes they emerge around major life changes like the birth of a new child, the death of a loved one, difficulties in a marriage, the loss of a job,  geographical relocation, or the diagnosis of a serious illness such as cancer. People work hard to manage on their own, but if things aren’t getting better, it may be time to get professional care.

I received my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University, Washington DC. My professional experiences include working with adolescents (12-19), adults, couples, and families of various races, religions, sexual identities, cultures, and nationalities. My experiences have also included a variety of settings such as primary school, community clinic, in-patient and out-patient hospital settings, university counseling centers, private practice, and prison.

As a clinician, it is important for me to meet a client where they are by utilizing their strengths, and helping them reach their full potential. My goal is to foster a safe space that is free to open expression, exploration, and healing. The decision to begin therapy is a sign of strength and an investment in yourself. Together, we will work to help you develop a better understanding of what is causing discomfort and discontent in your life so that you can make the long-lasting changes towards feeling better.
